I want to hear about love, about your affairs, marriages, divorces and failures, about the sex you’ve had (or haven’t had), and the sex you dream of having. I want to know what sense you make of your breakups and your fantasies. Tell me about relationships that would or could be yours, and what would help you have them. Tell me if physical and spiritual death are the same, if either of them can overcome love. Describe your strongest, weakest feelings, why they might be strong or weak, and how you really wish you’d felt, and what you fear you’ll feel.
